We’re talking skin care! Since I can remember, I have struggled with “skin issues.” You name it, I’ve had it from; acne, blotchy skin, to pesky dark spots. My skin was a disaster, but that all changed when I decided to take a proactive approach to finding the BEST “skin care” for flawless, blemish free skin. DISCLAIMER: These are tips and items that I PERSONALLY use. My skin is not super perfect, but it’s close … I love chocolate and bread. As you may know, those two won’t let me be great. LOL!
Water, water, water!
I drink water all day, everyday with slices of lemon. Think of your skin as a plant, it needs water to grow… so drink up ladies and gentlemen and watch your skin flourish! If you don’t care for water or you think its boring, I have a list below of how you can spruce it up!
- Apple Cider Vinegar
If you don’t care for “regular water” you can sip on some all natural coconut water and you can also add it to your shakes and smoothies.
Everyday, I take a multivitamin and a zinc tablet after a meal.
You can spruce up your water, smoothies, or juices with the items below.
- Tumeric (add a teaspoon in some warm almond milk with honey… its heaven!)
- Chia Seeds
- Cocoa Nibs
- Yogi brand tea (I’m literally obsessed with them plus I love their inspirational quotes)
- Moon Juice Shop dusts (LOVE my Beauty and Dream dusts… tried and true)
Fresh Juices and Smoothies
I drink smoothies or juices everyday or at least I try… My go to and favorite recipes are listed below:
Breakfast in a Cup
1 Cup of frozen Mangoes
1 Cup of raw Steel Cut Oatmeal
Handful of Almonds
2 Teaspoons of Tumeric
3 Dashes of Cinnamon
Handful of Cacao Nibs
2 Cups of Almond Milk
Watermelon Juice with a Twist
Slice a small Watermelon
Slice a small Honey Dew
4 slices of fresh Ginger
